A New Year A Fresh Start!
Well I haven’t written on this blog for a while so I hope this year will bring greatness the me and my family. I am currently listening to the Nicki Minaj CD and trying to figure out what to say on this blog. Today I went and saw “True Grit” with my hubby. It was an awesome movie. Last night I saw the movie “Devil” and even though I don’t like scary movies this one was good to watch! Ok thats it for now!

Lack of Musical Inspiration
My voice needs vocalizing like seriously. I have worked more at my job and spending less time singing. Which kind of has me down. Well I have done everything else in my life but dedicating myself to music. I have worked, getting cable in my house and have watched season one of the United States of Tara, I have also been going to Disneyland with My-Kong more often. We have been going to ride the rides and pin trade. I like the whole pin trading idea except for the trading part. I like pin-getting. The first day My-Kong and I went to pin trade I got a pin for free from a cast member. Now I want to get every pin for free instead of giving up one of mine for another.
Anyway, I have been distracted from my music. I put a Craig’s List Ad up and have not received one sincere result. My ad was for me, a female vocalist to get in contact with a band. So if you are reading this and you need a female vocalist for your band in the Orange County Area let me know!
My keyboard is getting dust on it and is not getting used very much. I also have a dead line and need to audition for voice lessons at my local community college that I am attending. It’s an awesome program that the JC offers that you pay for one credit hour and get a whole semester of voice lessons as long as you spend time singing in the voice lab. I have to dedicate at least five hours a week. Which sounds great and hopefully will motivate me to sing more often.
So right now I have a lack of musical inspiration and can not wait for the spring semester to start-up soon. I can’t wait for My-Kong to start school as well.
Tommorow is Friday and I will dedicate the entire weekend to music. Yay for the weekend!!!!

Its my 2nd Post and its about my better half….
I just got home from a lunch break from work. Its my 2nd post and since my first blog was about music. I shall make my 2nd blog even better and make it about the mysterious person mentioned in my first blog, My-Kong.

As soon as I got home, he made me a delicious grilled cheese sandwich and served me a glass of orange, pineapple, banana juice. It was really good.
So My-Kong if you are reading this please know that I love you and you are most definitely my better half.

Okay, now that I have officially warmed up my voice. I am ready to start talking. Hi! How are you doing out there in mp3 playing land? I hope as you are reading this you are listening to your favorite pop-princess jam or listening to your favorite heavy metal track. That reminds me, in the midst of creating this standing ovation blog, I have completely forgotten to turn on my 21st century gramophone created by a fruit company, that I shall call on my blog, “My-Tune-Monster”. I shall try to keep trademarked names out of my blog. I hope my readers will realize what I am trying to get at. Hold on, for just one second while I set my mp3 player on shuffle. (My-Kong is gonna hate me for slowing our bandwidth). Whilst putting ”my-tune-monster” on shuffle, I have realized that I don’t have that many Classical Songs. My vocal coach, Momma Caruso wouldn’t be very happy with the fact that I do not have such a great selection of Opera music. I think that I shall add one more chorus to my new years resolution this year. I shall broaden my musical knowledge and start listening to different genres of music. My music genres that I currently listen to are a lot of hip hop, pop, and R&B thanks to local radio stations, some Latin Music, a little bit of Alternative Music, and an even smaller bit of Classical Music. Which I am not very proud of having a limited Classical Library.
